A mezcalita I did not want to forget

I was sitting outside at sunset, live music coming from somewhere to my right, a passionfruit mezcalita in my hand, and I remember thinking: this is exactly it. Not a big moment. No occasion. Just the particular feeling of a warm evening when nothing is competing for your attention.

So I drew the glass. One quick sketch of a mezcalita at golden hour. That was the whole thing. I think that is what I keep trying to say with this work. You do not need a reason to mark a moment. You just need to notice it before it goes.
