Commission
perfect
A commissioned artwork can become a meaningful gift or personal keepsake for moments like:

-
Wedding or anniversary gifts
-
Honoring a childhood home or meaningful place
-
Marking a relocation or new chapter
-
Commemorating a favorite neighborhood

Creating a lasting gift for someone who “has everything”
Sometimes the most meaningful gifts are the ones that preserve a place or moment tied to memory.

Why work
with me
Every Swil Arts commission is created by hand using traditional watercolor and ink on archival paper chosen for longevity. The goal is to create artwork that can live with you for many years and carry the story of the place, object, or moment it represents.
community
Swil Arts is a women-owned and LGBTQ-owned studio that believes beauty carries greater meaning when it uplifts the communities around it. A portion of every Swil Arts sale — from goods, commissions, and collaborations — is donated to organizations working toward a more equitable and sustainable world.
Not sure where
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Fill out the contact form with whatever you already know, and I can help guide the next steps.
Helpful details to include can be things like:
-
reference photos you already have
-
the place, object, or scene you’d like illustrated
-
your ideal timeline
-
size ideas or intended use
-
whether the piece is for yourself or as a gift
Even if your ideas are still taking shape, that is completely okay.

Availability
Each commission is created slowly by hand, and I accept a limited number of personal projects at a time.
If you’re considering a commission, feel free to reach out to learn about current availability. If my schedule doesn’t align with your timeline, I’m always happy to recommend other talented artists within my trusted network.
ready to
Meaningful objects, places, and everyday scenes often carry more memory than we realize — a home, a place discovered while traveling, a street corner, or a view you returned to again and again.
If there is a moment, object, or place you would like preserved through artwork, I would love to hear about it.
